Doug’s “Pro” Auto Parts was established in 1960. The reputation for quality & service that was established then is still intact today. The company quickly grew along the 401 corridor between Trenton to the West & Cornwall to the East. Additional staff & buildings were added as the customer base grew. Over the years, Doug’s always kept good people and that has made a huge difference in the growth of their business through the 60’s, 70’s 80’s & 90’s.

In 2002, Doug’s “Pro” Auto Parts added the newest “State of the art” computer software, “PowerLinK II, with a satellite locate connection to ensure they can continue to meet the parts demands of their customers.		The same year a 5,200 square foot addition to its main building was added to bring the total available inside storage to 21,500 sq. ft.. The growth of the business has necessitated this major investment. Doug's "Pro" Auto Parts has 18 acres of land to operate from.
Doug’s Auto Parts has been an active member of O.A.R.A. (Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association) since it was founded in 1992. They are a founding member of the “Pro Auto Recyclers Group” in Canada. This group of eleven recycling yards has a serious commitment to quality, service, warranty, and the environment and has similar business ethics.
Doug’s “Pro” Auto Parts was a founding member of the “Mercury Switch Out” program, an initiative to remove Mercury from vehicles before crushing. They are active participants in the Kidney Car & Car Heaven charity programs. (Such programs helping Canadian Diabetes Association, Sunshine Dream for Kids, Epilepsy Ontario, MADD, Canadian Hearing Society, Bereaved Families of Ontario & the Canadian Liver Foundation. Cars donated to such programs have generated in excess of $750,000.00 so far.)

Doug’s “Pro” Auto Parts has thousands and thousands of quality used parts in stock as a result of the various Insurance Company contracts for salvage vehicles. Tires, batteries, headlights, taillights, bumpers, sheet metal, engines & transmissions to mention a few of the items already inspected & tested, and ready to go. The “PowerLink” satellite locater aligns us with access to millions of other parts that are brought in for customers on a daily basis. Dedicated automotive couriers provide overnight deliveries for parts as needed. Doug’s “Pro” Auto Parts is also a major supplier of “Aftermarket” parts from two of the largest warehouses in Canada. Parts are guaranteed for 120 days. We offer a money back guarantee or parts replacement, whichever the customer prefers. Extended warranties are also available to extend the part coverage to 1 year & assist on labour for up to 4 months.
Q.R.P. (Quality Replacement Parts) Member Doug’s “Pro” Auto Parts is online with the latest form of sourcing parts for shops & Insurance Company Appraisers. They submit their parts request by a single call, fax or email. Q.R.P. members respond with their quote in the same manner as requested. The number of quotes requested, the responses and the actual sales to those requests are tabulated at month end & those figures are made available to the Insurer.
